Story:

Things were slowly starting to fall into place at the new stable. Horses were arriving into their new stalls, the staff were settling, equipment was placed in the stable and house. Everything seemed to be going smoothly.

“How many more are we expecting to arrive the next weeks?” Adrian asked as he watched the roan horse being trained in the outdoor riding arena.

“All my horses are settled, so no more there, but a girl is coming here with her horse sometimes this week, we’ve already made a stall ready for her” Rebecca had chosen to rent out some of the stalls to get an extra income. Not that they were short on money, but it was nice to have some extra backup if that was ever needed. “There will also be some more staff members coming in. I still have a few left to interview, but otherwise we pretty much got it settled”

Adrian nodded as Rebecca explained. His eyes followed the redhead riding around, not in a collected trot. “Adela is doing a good job with him. He was one of the new horses you got right?” he wondered, it looked like they had worked together for a long time.

“Yes, he was one of the horses I got as payment from Wedgewood, for buying me out as a co-owner” she had been happy with the outcome, and she hoped Alva had been too. Even if they had very different views on how to hold horses, she did end up somewhat caring for the little woman in the end.  “Adela seemed to be the right rider for him. I can’t wait to see what they will accomplish the next year” she had a small smiled in her lips, throwing a last glance at the equipage before walking away.
