Story:
”Here” Alva handed Nina a bottle of cold water. “What a great time for the heat to get turned up huh?” Nina dried the sweat off her forehead. It was way too hot for her liking, especially on a show day. “Do I really have to wear the jacket?” she muttered as she drank some of the water. “Yeah sorry, show rules” Alva said apologetic. Excalibur stood ready, tail and mane braided, coat clean and shiny and tack polished. At the moment he was placed in the cool shadow of the hanger, with a bucket of refreshing water in front of him. “You should probably start warming up, but take it slow, we don’t want him to get too overheated” Alva loosened the knot that tied Ex to the hanger. She held the reins as Nina sat up. “Yeah, I’ll take it slow. Shit it’s warm” she folded up her sleeves before she grabbed the reins and leaded Ex towards the warm-up ring.
